Dography Privacy Policy

Dography is an iPhone app that turns dog photos you take or select into customizable Photo Cards and six-second Flash Card videos.

Effective date: July 25, 2026 · Last updated: August 10, 2026

In the current release, the Dography operator does not collect your photos, optional dog profile information, card projects, or app usage history on its servers.

1. Information Processed on Your Device

The following information is not linked to an account and is processed only in Dography’s private storage on your iPhone:

This information is not transmitted to Dography servers.

2. Camera and Photos

3. Saving, Exporting, and Sharing Cards

Saving a Photo Card image or six-second Flash Card video to Photos, or opening the iOS share sheet, occurs only when you explicitly choose that action. Dography does not automatically take, save, upload, or share photos or videos.

Copies exported to Photos, Files, or another app you select may remain outside Dography’s private app storage. Those copies are then governed by the policies of the relevant app or service.

4. Payment Information

Pro purchases and purchase restoration are processed by Apple through the App Store. Dography does not directly collect card numbers, bank account details, or your Apple Account credentials. The app stores only the purchase verification result and your Pro activation status.

Payment information processed by Apple is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

5. Collection, Analytics, Tracking, and Disclosure to Third Parties

The current version does not collect user accounts, location data, advertising identifiers, or contacts. It does not use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or user tracking.

The Dography operator does not sell or disclose your photos, optional profile, card projects, Photo Cards, Flash Card videos, or usage history to third parties. If you select another app or service from the iOS share sheet, however, your information may be processed according to the policies of the destination you choose.

6. Retention and Deletion

Before deleting the app or changing devices, save completed Photo Cards and Flash Card videos you want to keep to Photos or Files. Recent card projects are not automatically synchronized or restored.

7. Managing Permissions and Withdrawing Consent

You can change or withdraw camera and photo access at any time in the Dography section of iOS Settings. Withdrawing permission may limit photo capture, selection, or saving, but information already stored in the app remains until it is removed or the app is deleted. Dography does not request microphone access.
